Renewable Energy projects are increasingly at risk from a number of physical threats.

1. Malicious physical access at a wind turbine/solar farm

2. Malicious physical access at a substation

3. Environmental incidents such as storm damage and lightning strike

4. Catastrophic equipment failure.

5. Any other unplanned event that threatens human life or the environment.

The above threats could leave live generating assets dangerously insecure, posing a direct threat to life or the environment for a period until they can be made safe.

In response, RS4 Services Ltd have developed the Security Emergency Response Services (SERS) to target harden the Renewable Energy (RE) industry against aforementioned threats.

SERS guarantees a physical security response within an agreed time window to provide protection in the case of a major unplanned event leaves live Renewable Energy power generating equipment open to the public or poses a risk to the environment.
